    ABOUT ME

I’ve been in athletics in some form or fashion since I was a kid growing up in a small town where everybody knows everyone. As a youth athlete I maintained a weight of 147 pounds in high school which over time eventually reaching a personal best of 205. Working out and staying in shape has been a lifelong endeavor of mine for years by practicing several techniques, basically knowing how to get the best results. It starts with a simple mindset to build a foundation first and foremost then there is a process called commitment. Before any type of workout or fitness regime it's best to have a plan and goal about what you are expecting to accomplish. Anything is possible but some work is involved along with nutrition. Fitness is a lifestyle choice but it starts with you. BigDawg2Fitness

Nutrition plays a huge part when you are training especially when you’re trying to lose inches and that hard to lose belly fat. This can be accomplished in about 6 weeks, but only by keeping a strict diet and consistant workout regime. Losing belly fat is not as simple doing three ab workouts a week.
Squats and deadlifts work multiple groups of muscle and require more energy to perform causing the body to lose more calories and fat every time especially done correctly. Cardio is also very important to get the heart rate going while building endurance. You want to always increase your routine once it becomes easier although everyone has different limitations.
Try to aim for two to three days of strength training, two to three days of cardio, and one rest day per week. If time is a challenge try doing some cardio in between sets instead of resting 60-90 seconds. Once you get accustomed to the routine try doing doubles meaning a normal 2 day workout in 1, this usually applies to advanced training but can be accomplished with drive.
